Blueroy Laboratory

Our Range

Lab equipment from manufacturers we trust, supplied across country Victoria and southern NSW.

Blueroy Laboratory is an authorised Australian dealer for OHAUS, A&D, and Masscal (through our Melbourne partner). Three manufacturers, one phone call — so we can recommend the instrument that fits your application, not the only one we're allowed to sell.

Below is a category overview of what we carry. We've named real product series and given honest application notes, but not every SKU — there are a few thousand line items between the three manufacturers, and the best way to land on the right model is a five-minute conversation. Skim the categories, then tell us what you're trying to measure and we'll narrow it down.

OHAUS Explorer analytical balance, side view
Balances & Scales

The largest category we carry.

OHAUS offers a four-tier balance hierarchy — Explorer / Explorer PLUS (flagship — touchscreen, LIMS-ready, motorized leveling), Adventurer (mid-tier with touchscreen options), Pioneer (workhorse value), and PR Series (entry-level analytical and precision). Semi-Micro (0.01mg) through High-Capacity (65kg). AX trade-approved variants available.

A&D extends the range where their specialties matter — BA Series microbalances to 1µg readability, FZ Series with internal calibration, GXL Large Pan to 102kg, and EKEP intrinsically safe for hazardous environments.

For portable and compact balances, OHAUS Scout and Navigator ranges sit alongside A&D HT (with carry case), EJ, and EK series.

OHAUS MB120 moisture analyser with sample
Moisture Analysers

Halogen-heated, method-driven.

OHAUS covers everyday moisture analysis from entry-level to flagship — the MB23 through MB120 range, with the flagship MB120 featuring SmartGuide™ automated method creation, halogen heating, and storage for 100 methods and 1,000 results.

A&D adds high-readability options where standard 0.001g isn't enough — the MS-74A and MS-74AT premium range delivers 74g × 0.0001g for food research, pharmaceutical, and high-accuracy applications.

OHAUS AB41 pH meter with electrode and stirrer
Electrochemistry

Bench, portable, NATA-ready.

OHAUS Starter Series (value) and AquaSearcher™ Series (premium) cover the full range — pH, conductivity, ion-selective, dissolved oxygen, ORP, multi-parameter, and water-quality photometers. Bench meters across multiple price tiers, portable pen meters for spot-checks, and full kits with electrodes included.

Replacement electrodes, calibration solutions, and storage buffers stocked locally. Happy to walk through electrode selection for your specific application.

OHAUS Frontier FC5830R refrigerated centrifuge
Centrifuges

Mini to multi-purpose. Refrigerated throughout.

OHAUS' Frontier™ 5000 range covers mini, micro, and multi-purpose centrifuges — clinical, research, cell culture. Speeds from 6,000 to 30,000 rpm. Capacities from 8 microtubes to 4 × 1L. Refrigerated variants throughout the range.

What the Frontier range gets right — quiet operation (≤56–63 dB), brushless motors, rotor imbalance sensors with lid-open auto-stop, and auto rotor identification on ID models.

Centrifuge-plus-rotor bundles available for common tube formats.

OHAUS Guardian 7000 hotplate stirrer in use
Mixing, Shaking & Heating

From vortex to environmental control.

Vortex mixers across mini, heavy-duty, microplate, and multi-tube configurations (up to 50 samples at once). OHAUS Endeavor™ shakers cover open-air, reciprocating, rocking/waving, and incubating/cooling/thermal applications. The Guardian™ 7000 hotplate stirrer range features SmartHousing™ (cool-touch), SmartHeat™ limiting, and SafetyHeat™ malfunction shutoff. Dry block heaters (1, 2, 4, 6 block) with ±0.1°C stability. Overhead stirrers for higher-viscosity work.

Research-grade specialty — for cell biology, molecular biology, and microbiology, the OHAUS Genie™ series offers Vortex-Genie, Bead Genie (cell disruption), Incubator Genie (temperature-controlled mixing), and Enviro-Genie (full environmental control). From standalone vortex units through to full environmental control.

OHAUS LabJaws multi-purpose clamp on retort stand
Lab Supports & Consumables

The everyday kit that keeps the bench running.

OHAUS LabJaws covers stands, clamps (3-prong, double, ribbon, condenser), and supports (universal H-base, telescopic) — almost 180 SKUs across one catalogue. Plus calibration weights (OIML class E, F, M), pH and conductivity electrodes, calibration solutions, moisture analyser consumables (pans, glass fibre discs, calibration kits), balance accessories (breeze breaks, density kits, anti-vibration platforms), and printers (SF-40A, SF-110B, Bluetooth variants).

A&D SV-1A vibro viscometer
Specialty Instruments

Beyond the standard range.

Where the standard kit isn't enough. A&D Vibro Viscometers (SV-10, SV-100, SV-10A, SV-1A) — tuning-fork vibration viscometry from 0.3 to 100,000 mPa·s, for dairy QA, winemaking, food processing, and edible oil applications. Pipette accuracy testers (AD-4212A-PT, AD-4212B-PT, FX-300i-PT) plus the AD-1690 leak tester — required equipment for NATA-regulated pipette verification. Mass comparators (MC series) for internal calibration labs. Weighing environment diagnostics (AD-1691 Environment Analyser, AD-1641 Air Flow Logger, AD-1683 Static Eliminator) for diagnosing tricky bench installations.

If you're working at this level, get in touch — these are specification-driven items rather than stocked broadly.

Calibration & Service

Two pathways for two compliance needs.

We don't sell instruments we can't keep calibrated. Two pathways:

Trade-legal (NMI Reg13) calibration — handled on-site at our Shepparton workshop by sister division Country Scale & Equipment, NMI Licence SL-0157. For trade-approved scales including OHAUS AX and A&D -TA models.

NATA-accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) mass calibration — handled by Melbourne partner N.G. Brown, whose accredited lab holds the lowest commercial measurement uncertainty for mass calibration in Australia.

Tell us your compliance requirement and we'll route the work to the right pathway.

Not sure which instrument is right for your application?

Tell us what you're measuring and how you're measuring it. We'll match the model to the brief — not the most expensive one on the shelf.
