Blueroy is a Shepparton-based, family-run business supplying measurement and laboratory equipment across country Victoria and southern New South Wales. We’re a team that believes good gear should be matched by good advice — and that buying an instrument shouldn’t mean being left alone with the manual.

Country Scale & Equipment
Industrial weighing division
Our established industrial and trade-approved weighing division. Weighbridges, bench and floor scales, retail and agricultural weighing, and NMI-certified calibration. CSE has its own home at countryscale.com.au.
Blueroy Laboratory
lab equipment division
Our lab equipment division and the newest addition to the business. An authorised OHAUS dealer, supplying analytical balances, moisture analysers, pH and conductivity meters, centrifuges and lab consumables to QA teams, research labs and education.
Same workshop, same people, same standards — applied to two different benches.
Our heritage
Country Scale & Equipment has been owned and operated by the Hardy family since 2002, with roots in weighing and measurement in the region going back to the mid-1970s. Over those decades we’ve become a known name in country Victoria and southern NSW for honest weighing advice, good service turnaround, and the regulatory know-how that comes with being a National Measurement Institute licensee (SL-0157) and a member of the Weighing Industry Association of Australia.
Blueroy Laboratory builds on that heritage. The lab division is new, but the workshop, the hands, and the standards behind it are not.
Where we work
We’re based at 49 Mitchell Street, Shepparton, in the Goulburn Valley. From there we service:
- The Goulburn and Murray Valleys
- Country Victoria
- Southern New South Wales
Calibration, repairs and workshop service are handled on-site in Shepparton. Lab stock is held locally and delivered across the same service region.

If it’s sold as a measuring instrument, it had better measure. Every balance, scale, and meter we supply is backed by the original manufacturer’s warranty and calibration.
Advice over upsell, independence over brand loyalty.
We’re authorised dealers for multiple lab equipment manufacturers — OHAUS, A&D, and Masscal through our Melbourne partner. That means we can recommend the right instrument for your application rather than the only instrument we’re allowed to sell. Sometimes the cheaper option is genuinely the right one. We’ll say so.
Local service, genuinely.
Phone answered by someone who knows the gear. Repairs done in our own workshop, not sent interstate. Stock on our shelves, not on a boat.
Regional by choice.
We’d rather serve our region well than stretch ourselves thin chasing a national footprint. We’ve watched too many small businesses outgrow their ability to look after customers properly — and we’ve made a deliberate decision not to be one of them. We’ll grow at the pace our service can keep up with.
